The Art of Ceremony: A Psilocybin and Breathwork Retreat for Psychedelic Practitioners

October 2nd-5th, 2025

You’re Invited

to a unique and intentional retreat designed specifically for psychedelic facilitators, therapists, and inner explorers.

Over the course of four days, we’ll gather in a private, natural setting to explore the deeper dimensions of psychedelic group ceremony. This retreat will be held by myself and a trusted team of highly trained facilitators, sound healers, and breathwork guides—all committed to integrity, depth, and presence.

Together, we’ll step into sacred space through:

This retreat is not a training—and yet, it will teach you. It is not therapy—but you may find it deeply healing. It’s a rare opportunity to tend to your own soul’s unfolding in community, in nature, and in reverent connection with sacred medicine.

Compared to the cost of two sessions at a service center in Oregon, this retreat offers far more: an intimate, high-integrity ceremonial container, facilitated by experienced practitioners who live this path, as well as exceptional food and lodging.

If you’re serious about this work—about growing as a practitioner, deepening your own healing, and learning from the medicine itself—then this may be for you.

  • Are a practicing or aspiring psychedelic facilitator, therapist, or healer

  • Long for a deeper, more mythopoetic and transpersonal connection to the work

  • Crave supportive community and embodied mentorship

  • Are willing to be vulnerable, honest, and open to the unknown

  • Have a stable foundation to return to (emotional, relational, financial)

This retreat is for you if you:

  • Are currently in acute psychological distress

  • Have no prior experience or training in psychedelics, psychotherapy, or inner work

  • Lack a strong personal support system

  • Have a history of psychosis or untreated trauma

  • Are uncomfortable with group vulnerability or ceremonial containers

This retreat is not for you if you:

Meet the team:

  • See my About page

  • Kate is a kambô practitioner, labor and delivery nurse, musician, and space holder. She is at home in spaces of transformation, in deep conversation with the Divine, and at the portals of birth and death. She has worked extensively with plant medicines, various meditation and wisdom traditions, and vocal practice. She works with groups and individuals, aiding them in reconnecting with their innate wisdom.

  • Chet Bentley is a transformational guide and founder of Higher Intelligence Studios, utilizing the ancient technologies of sound, yoga and breath to help his clients awaken the divine intelligence of their heart. Through his journey of sobriety, healing the ancestral father wound and countless leaps of faith, he has been guided towards a life of service to others and the devotional path to self-love.

He holds an MFA in Electronic Music and Recording Media from Mills College, a Sound Healing Certification from Globe institute and a Yoga Teacher Certification from Aura Kundalini Academy.

  • Christine is a somatic practitioner, former licensed addictions counselor, and certified Holotropic Breathwork® facilitator. I’m a grief and threshold tender. She serves as a teacher and module facilitator for Grof Transpersonal Training in the U.S. and internationally. For nearly two decades, she has supported others in the territory where body, psyche, and spirit meet—through expanded states, deep integration, and transformative life experiences. Her practice is rooted in a deep respect for the wisdom of the soma and psyche, and a commitment to helping people orient in times of uncertainty—reclaiming inner authority, making meaning, and remembering their mythic thread. She aims to normalize descent as part of the journey, not something to bypass but to be lived through and integrated. Christine’s work often orients around early imprints, developmental trauma, and perinatal layers of experience, informed by Grof’s perinatal matrices and somatic tools for accessing and integrating early developmental material.

Why an application?

Because of the depth and intensity of this work, I ask all prospective participants to complete a short application. This isn’t about exclusivity—it’s about ensuring that everyone who attends is truly ready for the kind of inner work and group vulnerability this retreat will invite. Psychedelic ceremony, especially in a communal setting, requires a strong foundation of emotional resilience, self-awareness, and support. By taking the time to learn about each person’s background, intentions, and readiness, I’m able to create a safer, more attuned container for everyone involved. This is how we honor both the sacredness of the medicine and the integrity of the work. Spaces are limited to 16 participants.

Not the right time?

I’m also currently opening space for a small number of 1:1 mentorship clients beginning this fall, and will be offering my 7-week online course on Mythopoetic Integration later this fall.

With respect and care,
-Simon
