A Winter Ceremony of Sound and Stillness

To a different kind of retreat experience. Share in a group inquiry into silence and sound, and cultivate the practice of meditation through a curated ceremonial container.
This retreat is an opportunity to cultivate your meditation practice, and bring it into the amplified container of ceremony. Whether you are a long time meditator or it is something unfamiliar, this retreat is an opportunity to integrate deep presence into your life.
Quiet your mind, return to your breath, and deepen into the medicine of mid-Winter. Through ceremony, silence, and sacred sound, we will enter into a space of stillness where the luminous mind can reveal its true nature.
Together, we’ll step into sacred space through:
This retreat is not about healing, though something like it may occur.
Rather, our aim is to cultivate presence. The kind of presence that unfurls in the meditation hall in the darkness of the night. The kind of presence that allows the language of the wild to permeate your soul. The kind of presence that awakens when we gaze into the still pool of our quiet, radiant mind.
For a week leading up to this retreat, participants are invited to join in a daily morning meditation call as part of our preparation process and to begin cultivating their practice.
Through meditation, breath work, live sound, active listening, and ceremony, we will collectively dive into a space of Deep Listening.
Deep listening, coined by composer Pauline Oliveros, “explores the difference between the involuntary nature of hearing and the conscious nature of listening. The practice includes bodywork, sonic meditations, and interactive performance, as well as listening to the sounds of daily life, nature, one’s own thoughts, imagination, and dreams.”

Why an application?
Because of the depth and intensity of this work, I ask all prospective participants to complete a short application. This isn’t about exclusivity—it’s about ensuring that everyone who attends is truly ready for the kind of inner and group work this retreat will invite. Ceremonial work requires a strong foundation of emotional resilience, self-awareness, and support. By taking the time to learn about each person’s background, intentions, and readiness, I’m able to create a safer, more attuned container for everyone involved.
Spaces are limited to 12 participants.
Not the right time?
I regularly have 1-2 openings for 1:1 mentorship clients. To learn more about working with me individually, visit my mentorship page.
